No, not at present for home sleep screening tests (e.g. V1,V2). However, as of October 2025, a new rebate has been announced for home diagnostic sleep tests (e.g. V3). We will update referrers once these changes come into effect.
Yes. Data are stored securely, only accessible to authorised team members, and results are sent directly to the referring clinic.
Yes. Our devices are all individually registered with the TGA, and our kits are also registered, and approved for their indicated use with the TGA.
Turnaround is usually 7–10 days for V1 (Oximetry) and V2 (Comprehensive screening), and 7–14 days for V3 (Level-2 diagnostic) from kit dispatch/return to reported results.
V3 records oximetry, heart rate, airflow, RIP effort, snore, body position, ECG and bruxism, with EEG used in the V3 workflow to enable diagnostic reporting by a sleep physician.
Yes. Healiox uses devices that are approved for use in Australia, supported by published research evidence, and paired with specialist interpretation.
Yes. V2 and V3 include a telehealth consultation to discuss results and next steps with an ENT surgeon or paediatric sleep physician.
Indicative out of pocket fees (including return postage and specialist reporting): V1 $330, V2 $440, V3 $550. Clinics may set local billing processes; confirm at referral. Prices may change without notice. The post kit Telehealth consultation with the Healiox specialist will be bulk billed. The Private insurance extras may also provide additional co for V3 kits – check with your insurer.

Yes. Where the Healiox clinician feels there is an appropriate medication for your child, such as nasal steroid spray, they can provide you with an e-script so that you can start medical treatment immediately.
